Haig-Brown House

The Haig-Brown House is located on a serene property, just off the banks of the Campbell River and minutes from downtown. Built in 1923, this historic family home belonged to well-known writer and conservationist Roderick Haig-Brown, his wife Ann, and their kids. From May-October, the home operates as a B&B. Stays include a tour highlighting Roderick’s study, featuring fly-fishing gear and more than 3000 books. We recommend booking in advance.

Coastal Wilderness Adventures

If you long to catch a wild Pacific Salmon or land an elusive BC Steelhead, book a trip on a saltwater fishing charter or a custom fly fishing trip. New to fishing? Learn the different fishing methods for the different species of fish that live in our waters including salmon, steelhead, trout, and bottom fish. Boats are 23’-28’ Grady Whites, and are covered, heated and have onboard washrooms. We recommend booking your charter in advance.

Crabby Bob’s is a genuinely unique Campbell River experience. This floating seafood shop is located right by the Discovery Fishing Pier.
